Today was Lily's last day of Kindergarten. I'm so proud of her. This year has stretched her and she really struggled at the beginning of it, but she has grown and blossomed so much. I can't believe I have a first grader now!
Both Grandma's at her kindergarten program!
Art time with our slower mornings at home.
David was my yoga buddy this morning. He got tired, but luckily the mat doubles as a great place to nap.
Suzy has decided that her name should be spelled "Soozee." Phonetically, I can't argue, but luckily she told me she'll still spell it S-U-Z-Y at school. Haha.
Excerpts from Lily's kindergarten journal:
This one says, "I love planting raspberries because I am going to hoe it with my cousins."
Suzy and David had a little preschool program at the end of their school year. It was so fun to see them, and David loves all the songs. Suzy is excited as ever to go to Kindergarten and keeps asking "How long away is the fall?" She can't wait and is crossing her fingers that she'll get the same teacher as Lily.
Suzy's "name scroll" from school. She wrote her name a bunch of times on little papers, and then they taped them all together. Impressive!
Suzy also loves sewing. I'm not ready to teach her on the sewing machine, but she stitches hearts and stars with yarn.
And some art work from Suzy:
We all got sick a couple weeks ago, so I had extra quilting time while we were quarantined.
