Halloween 2016

We did most of our Halloween Celebrating yesterday evening and it was so much fun.  First we had a ward Trunk or Treat (so efficient...I love it!)  Then we went to a party at the Hansen's.  Good food, family, perfect weather and party games.  It was a blast (Thanks Anna!)  Happy Halloween

Elsa, Anna and a smartiepants.  David wouldn't really wear the cape that we had for him, and he didn't want to be in the picture.  Kinda like his Daddy.

Abe Lincoln himself attended this party.

The kids were riveted while my Mom read "Big Pumpkin"

Suzy's Birthday (Celebration)

My little cutie here has a birthday the day after Christmas.  She hasn't had a friend birthday party before so we decided to just celebrate two months early.  We had so much fun.  We colored princess pictures, played "hotter/colder" to find ribbons, danced to princess songs and had a tea party.  Thanks to everyone for coming!

And a big thanks to my visiting teachers who helped me hang crepe paper, my Mom for playing waitress with me at the tea party, and Jon's parents for watching David during the party (and putting together some legos when the party was over).  This was definitely a group effort.

Pumpkin Patch

Last year we went to the pumpkin patch with the girls preschool, and since then I've been excited to go back with Jon.  Tonight, the weather was perfect and we had so much fun.  Lily said it's the funnest day
of her life, so that's a win.  So much of having young kids is so hard.  This kind of an evening is so fun...and goes a long way to help me through the rough times.  I love this.

Fall Break

It's fall break at our house and it gets a little tricky for us to have all our structure of school and schedule gone, but we've been enjoying it.  To kick things off, David got his finger stuck in the gears of our stationary bike.  So sad, but he's doing well and it seems to be healing alright.  Our first day off, we went to BYU and the Bean Museum, then ate ice cream and visited Jon on campus, then visited Abby on campus.  Next day, we went to my Grandma Tyler's house and raked leaves, ate freshly baked cookies, and played with Uncle Jim.  Yesterday we went to a new park in Orem with my parents, Joe and Emma.  It was so much fun.  Just one more day to go!  It's been exhausting and fun.  (And I threw in some pictures of our fun day with cousin Eve a couple weeks ago.
